Pattaya
Well interesting times in Pattaya. Not the sort of place we would suggest you take your family - however as Evan always says "it's about the experience".
accommodation was great and the sun was most of the time there so it was great just lying around the pool and having a few drinks.
We ventured out one night to the Alcazar Centre which is a massive complex devoted to 'lady boys', 'Shemales' or whatever you wish to call them. There were over 1000 people at the show and we managed to get front row centre (maybe not the greatest move!!!!) The ladies were all very glamorous and most were very convincing.
At one point in the show a lady who could only be described as large took the stage for a bit of comic relief, dancing, singing, etc. We all became a little nervous when she headed into the audience. First thing she did was rub her fake breasts in the face of a South African guy near us and we thought we were safe. But it was not to be. Next she saw Evan and took a distinct liking to him. She made him stand up and go on stage with her. They proceeded to dance and carry on while the crowd (particularly Mel) cried with laughter. At the end of it she requested a kiss on the cheek and as Evan leant in to oblige she turned and kissed him on the lips. Very funny for all involved (traumatic for Evan). As consolation Evan received as Alcazar 'man bag'.
Hope you enjoy the pics!!!
Cheers

Hi Mel and Ev.
Sounds like you two are getting plenty of laughs out of Thailand- We can't wait to meet up there in January! The Blog is great- it's the first thing I look at when I get to work!!! We are both good- but as you can imagine Rod has been a tad bored since his shoulder op- hopefully he will be able to go back to work in about 2 weeks! The netty trip is soon Mel- it's my first one and I can't wait!!! Have fun, Jane and Rod!
Hi guys, glad you're loving Thailand, it is a weird and wonderful place. What a scorcher we are having over here! Hottest day in October for I don't know when (35). Like Jane said looking forward to the netty trip we should have a ball! Good numbers too, which is very exciting!
Enjoy,
Love Fi
Um Ev.... I seem to remamber that you have rules when you are dancing!! I do hope you were only moving from your waist up!!!

Hi Guys-Lou & Wayneo here!! We just returned home today after 10 days of super relaxo honey mooning in Phuket. All we did was laze by the pool- no actvities this trip although I made sure we saw a couple of temples in Bangers so we could tick "culural experince" off the list. I figured that shopping wouldnt really count. Although, gotta say, Wayneo did much better with the shopping than me!!!
We saw a few lady boys in Patong. Bizarre. Dont get me started on the revolting guys who are after jiggy jig!
Will be sure to log on for the latest soon.
Take care & hope you are feeling better Mel. Gotta love the gastro slim though!!
xoxo
