Finally Here In Bangkok!!!!
Hi all well after a long wait we are finally here! The plane ride wasn't as bad as we thought it might be however no sleep meant we were very tired when we got in.
The hotel is beautiful! We enjoyed the buffet breakfast which was to die for.
Not sure about the road rules over here. If anyone knows what the white lines on the road are for could they let us know as they don't seem to be there to drive in between! Interesting cab ride!!!
Very hot and humid and has rained a bit already. Our Hotel adjoins a massive shopping complex and we have already been to check out some of the bargains on genuine brand name clothes. Haven't got our heads around the currency exchange quite yet; but we have worked out it is very cheap.
Off on a tour of Bangkok and to meet the king shortly and then going to the Patpong night markets tonight. Off to Pataya tomorrow for three nights before heading to Koh Samui.

Glad to hear you got there safely.
Bet you are having a ball on your first day there.
Hope you find some good bargains.... and remember im a size 12 if some of the things dont fit in your back packs....lol
I have already washed your car Evan as there were a sworm of bugs stuck to the window from trip home. Apart from that nothing else to report.

Good work on the car Jess - once a week should be fine - make sure you turn on computer for Mum and Dad so they can keep up with what is going on.

Brooke it is definitely enter streets at own risk - love the Tuk Tuks though. Funny for all the craziness have not seen any accidents - i could never drive here i would be stuck in one lane going around block all day!!!!
